Ecological Compliance
Urban and rural development has placed increasing pressure on endemic plant and animal populations that once thrived throughout their historic ranges. As a result, an increasing number of species are protected under state and/or federal regulations, adding complexity to the environmental compliance process.
EAS helps clients maintain their operational objectives while complying with the applicable laws and regulations.
Our work includes:
- conducting surveys for special status species
- documenting the presence, extent, and relative abundance of special status species and prescribing appropriate mitigation measures
- conducting animal-relocation services
Review process
A successful ecological compliance review also depends on effectively communicating with state and/or federal regulating agencies. EAS experts, who have worked with regulatory agencies for more than a decade, can facilitate the project review process.
