Benefits

EAS offers excellent compensation & benefits, including medical & dental insurance, paid time off & an attractive 401K plan with employer contribution, as well as other benefits.

EAS maintains a Paid Time Bank (PTB) program for eligible employees, which combines personal, vacation, sick, holiday and other time off not otherwise covered by EAS’ leave policies, into one total bank of hours. Instead of receiving a fixed amount of time for each type of paid time off, the PTB program allows you to access a pool of hours which may be used to cover your time away from work.

EAS offers retirement benefits, subject to eligibility requirements and/or other restrictions outlined in the Plan Document, through the KOMAN 401(K) Plan (“Plan”) after six months of service. For employees meeting the requirements to participate in the Plan, EAS will provide a safe harbor matching contribution equal to 100% of employee salary deferrals that do not exceed 4% of compensation. The safe harbor matching contribution is 100% vested immediately.

EAS offers three medical insurance plan options, through Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield, to eligible, full-time (regularly scheduled for a work week of 30 hours or more) employees. The first option is a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), which is paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA). For employees electing coverage under the HDHP, EAS currently contributes up to $1,000 (contributed incrementally with each pay period) to help fund the employee’s HSA. The second and third options are a buyup Preferred Provider Organization Plan (PPO), along with an optional medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Medical coverage begins the first day of the month following 30 days of eligible employment.

EAS also offers eligible employees an optional dental insurance plan through Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as an optional vision insurance plan through MetLife.

EAS recognizes the importance of taking leave when there is a death in the family. If you are a full-time employee and you lose an immediate family member, EAS will provide paid bereavement leave of up to 24 hours (paid pro-rata for those that work a reduced schedule) to assist in attending to your obligations and commitments. Paid bereavement leave may be supplemented with PTB and/or unpaid leave for extended funeral matters.

EAS recognizes that it is the obligation of all U.S. citizens to serve on a jury when summoned to do so. If you are a full-time employee and you are summoned for jury duty service, EAS will provide paid jury duty leave of up to 80 hours (paid pro-rata for those that work a reduced schedule) to perform such civic service as required by law.

EAS offers eligible employees an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Basic Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Short Term Disability (STD), and Long Term Disability (LTD) through Metlife. These supplemental benefits are provided at not cost to the employee.
